Audelia Sosa, mi abuela
A mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, neighbor, and radiant human being, we see her soul on its downfall as her cancer has returned. Due to the intense chemotherapy, her body never fully recovered. A memory I have of her showcasing her grand resistance to cancer is this picture taken in Janitzio, Michoacán. Not only was 2017 the year of her chemo sessions, the island has a tiresome journey to the top. She has always been a fighter sparking her independent energy as much as she could.
Comparing her energy to then and now, seeing her need medical machine help to eat, breath, and digest is tremendously sad for all of her loved ones. As the days go by, we see her time with us is limited. Her time is almost due, yet her impact on all of us stays with us forever.

Detras de una grand mujer se encuentra una guerrera que luchando a diario por su vida. No se a rendido después de varias caídas. Ella nos a dando amor incondicional sin pedir nada a cambio. Sus palabras que nos repetían era “te quiero” serán inolvidables. La madre, la hermana, la tia, la abuela, la suegra y la amiga que nunca nos dio la espalda y siempre estuvo escuchándonos. En este momento esta en una batalla difícil de ganar. Esta en las manos De Dios la decision que va tomar sobre su vida.
Purpose of Donation
As Audelia’s living has been reliant on medicine and technology, we’d appreciate any donations in aiding her expenses. Expenses include doctor and nursing bills, 24/7 oxygen tank assistance, testing, intubation of food source, saline solution, and medical machines, etc.
